The Returns & Warranty Process

Most of the products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase from us. Within the warranty period, we will assist you in warranty claim process from suppliers, distributors, wholesalers or manufacturers. Replacement products may be new or refurbished at supplier discretion.

For any warranty claim, a valid Proof of Purchase, Purchase Receipt or Warranty Card is required.

Some examples of a non-valid Proof of Purchase are:

  • The UPC bar code from the box.
  • A picture of the actual Product.
  • Credit card statements
  • Box packaging
  • Screenshot of purchased conversation

What if I don’t have a Proof of Purchase?

We reserves the right to take any action against all forms of suspicious claims, including, without limitation, requiring further verification of identity and details of claimant and qualifying purchases as well as debarment of claim.


Can I have a reissue/reprint for Proof of Purchase?

We do not provide any reissue/reprint purchase receipt. You have to keep your Proof of Purchase/Warranty Card safely within product (s) warranty period.


How Long does it take to Claim my Product Warranty?

If your item is within warranty duration, we will process your request in accordance with our supplier. Usually, It takes about 30 to 60 days depending on each supplier. Please understand that the speed of warranty claim process is beyond our control. We will notify you to collect the warranty products once it is repaired/replaced by our supplier.


Do I need to pay for Repairs or Replacement Warranty?

If your product is within warranty duration and is damaged by mechanical or electrical systems, you don’t have to worry about the repairing/replacement cost, provided that you shall be responsible for any transportation charges. Replacement products may be new or refurbished at supplier discretion.


Under what Conditions is/are Warranty Void?

The warranty does not apply to: (i) cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks, stains and dents; (ii) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (iii) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water (in excess of specifications), flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes; (iv) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of BASIS; or (v) damage to a product that has been modified or altered without the prior written permission of BASIS.

You are required claim the warranty directly from services center authorized by the manufacturer for better quality services for all brands of monitors, all brands of television, all brands of desktop, all brands of laptop. Sony Malaysia Playstation Products and Sony Malaysia Audio Products.
